I am Bo Zhang, a graduate student with Computer Science Department at Rice University. I got my B.S. degree of Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China in June 2004, then I came to Houston, Texas to pursue my doctor degree. I expect to get it PhinisheD by May 2009.
My primary research interests are in systems especially in Internet Protocols and Applications, Distributed Systems and Wireless Networks. Specifically, I am very interested in network support for Internel-scale services and systems and try to figure out cool ways to improve people's experiences with those systems. This can be done at both analysis level, by exploring the fundamental properites in these systems, and at the system level, by designing and implementing compelling, easy to use tools that can benefit other people.
